On March 2, 2016, Shanghai Huahong Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd., a controlled subsidiary of CEC Huada Electronic Design Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “HED”), successfully won the bid for the ticket procurement project of Guangzhou public transport electronic toll collection system, which marked that HED won the bid for this project for two years in a row after Guangzhou Yang Cheng Tong Co., Ltd. replaced Yang Cheng Tong card with CPU card in 2015.

The bid-winning product is contactless CPU card chip SHC1108, an all-in-one card chip independently developed by HED. The product is manufactured using CMOS EEPROM process and typically applied in public transport and e-purse. SHC1108 integrates 8-bit microprocessor, RF circuit meeting to ISO/IEC14443 Type A standard, true random number circuit, DES/3DES algorithm module and SM1/SM4 commercial cryptographic algorithm module. The user data space of SHC1108 series can be configured as 4K, 8K, 16K, 32K or other capacity, offering multiple choices to users. With such configurations, the product lines can offer multi-grade capacity choices to customers, and provide perfect technical guarantee and support for more diverse multi-industrial applications in the future. SHC1108 series have been successfully applied in all-in-one cards in more than 30 cities and a variety of citizen cards throughout the country.
